EXP Elite Autoresponder Instructions: 2
Next we will add our Autoreplies and follow ups. To do this, press the "Next" button:
Simply check the box if you want to use a follow up campaign. A follow up campaign includes autoresponders. If you have not created a follow up campaign, choose the "Go to Follow Up Builder" link.
If you have selected your follow up campaign press the finish button. If you need help building a follow, see the Follow Up Builder below.
STEP #2: Setting up Auto replies
Follow Up Builder:
To add a new followup campaign, press the "Add" button. To delete a campaign, press the "Remove" button.
To change when messages will be sent in the campaign, select the campaign that you want to change and press "Next". You will see the following screen:
Adding replies to a follow up campaign is easy. Just press the "add" button, select the message that you want to send. Then enter the number of days after they subscribe that they will receive the message.
NOTE: For automatic replies enter the value of 0 for days after sign up. This will send an automatic reply message.
If you have not yet created your follow up message, you can press the "create Email" button to write some follow up messages.
Press the "Next" button and you'll asked if you want to add emails from a list into the follow up process. When you do this, any emails that are added to a list are immeditley used in the follow up campaign.
This is great for importing your address book and automatically following up with everyone in it.
Putting it all to work
So how do you get all this to work? Well, EXP elite is made to work just like an email server at your ISP. We want everything to work without you having to think about it. This is all done with the EXP Elite Scheduler.
The Scheduler will automatically send follow ups and check your email accounts every few minutes. We highly recommend setting the scheduler to startup with windows. This way you never have to worry about checking your email for new subscribes/remove requests.
To start the scheduler:
Select Tools and launch scheduler from EXP Elite's main window:
When you do this, you will see the scheduler icon in your task view (lower right hand side of your screen). To set the scheduler to run automatically when windows starts up. Right click on it and choose "Run on Windows Startup". Make sure this box is checked.
That's it. The scheduler will automatically begin checking your email and processing it. You don't have to worry about doing it yourself.
Congratulations! You've setup your first POP3 Autoresponder. Now you create more as your needs grow with our paying additional fees!
